How to sell fast and smart with Dynamics 365 Business Central?

There is no easy and affordable way to manage your sales leads and opportunities. Wrong. Now there is with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Microsoft has made it extremely easy for the businesses to nurture their leads and opportunities, prioritize leads based on revenue potential, get guidance on best upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities, and so much more. What’s more? You can do all of it at a fraction of the cost that you’ll incur on other CRM systems.

Here’s how you can start selling fast and smart with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Register new customers

The most important aspect of your sales process is your customer. Customers are the source of your income. Business Central allows you to register each customer you sell to as a customer card. Customer cards hold the information that is required to sell products to the customer.

Create and send sales quotes

With the help of Dynamics 365 Business Central, you can create a sales quote to record your offer to a customer to sell certain products on certain delivery and payment terms. This sales quote can be sent to the customer to communicate the offer. You can email the document as a PDF attachment or have the email body prefilled with a summary of the quote.

Selling products

With D365 Business Central, you can create a sales order or sales invoice and once your customer confirms the order, you can send an order confirmation to record your obligation to deliver the products as agreed. After the order or part of the order has been shipped, you post the sales order as shipped or as shipped and invoiced to create the related item and customer ledger entries in your system. When you post the sales order, the document can also be emailed as a PDF attachment. You can have the email body prefilled with a summary of the order and payment information, such as a link to an e-wallet.

Creating special orders

Apart from your regular orders, you can create a special order for a specific catalog item to be shipped to a specific customer.

Track packages

So, now that the order’s shipped, you’ll need to ensure that the order reaches your customer. D365 Business Central allows you to track parcels you have handed over to shipping agents. If you use one or more shipping agents, you can set up certain basic information and use the automatic tracking feature from posted shipments to track the route of the package.

Respond to customer queries faster

Gain a comprehensive overview of your service tasks, workloads, and employee skills with Business Central so that you can assign the right resources and fasten the process of case resolution. Act quickly on sales-related inquiries, manage service requests, and process payments—all from the comfort of Outlook.
